FLOWER CARE

ROSES AND GARDEN ROSES

  1. Immediately after receiving the roses open the box and remove the cable ties or bands. Don’t remove the paper wrapping the blooms.
  2. Fill flower containers, vases or buckets with approximately 12cm of clear cold water.
  3. Remove the outer petals (guard petals).
  4. Cut the stems at an angle to remove approximately 2cm from the bottom of the stem. Allow the roses to hydrate in containers with water for at least 4 hours or longer, if possible.
  5. Note that the leaves should be above the waterline. Remove any foliage that falls below the waterline in the container prior to hydrating the roses.
  6. The water should be changed every 24 – 48 hours to ensure freshness and longer life of the roses
